Sven Stas approached this house in Hasselt as something already layered: first a distillery, then an office, eventually a family home. Instead of starting with finishes or references, Stas began with conversation. A workshop, a series of questions, time spent unpacking what mattered to them, emotional triggers and memories. The objective was not to impose a new identity, but to recalibrate the space.

Stas’ work here is less about leaving a signature and more about clarifying how people live together. The house makes room for contrast: history alongside future, craft alongside industry, head alongside heart. It now accommodates both.
